Treat Every Morning As Another Day of New Life

Lyn do not start your day with the broken pieces of yesterday.
Each morning is a gift.
Each morning represents a brand new day of life.
Don't be afraid to start again.
Keep going.
Cheer up!-by Lyn Pence

Everything I Needed - I Ask for Strength and God Gave Me the Difficulties to Make Me Strong

Everything I Needed

I ask for strength and God gave me the difficulties to make me strong.
I asked for wisdom and God gave me problems to solve.
I asked for prosperity and God gave me brawn and brain to work.
I asked for courage and God gave me dangers to overcome.

Lyn, Do not Give Up-Take One Step At a Time

Lyn, just one step at a time to fulfill your dream.
When you start something new, you can't do everything all at once and then expect the journey to be over, we do one thing at a time. If you want to start going to the gym or lose weight you can't do all your workout in one session. Keep praying, Lyn.

The Power of Prayer

The Eagle does not fight the snake on the ground.
It picks it up into the sky and changes the battleground, and then it releases the snake into the sky. Pick up your battles, struggles, problems through prayer, by calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ; Jeremiah 33:3.

"Hello God, I'm Falling Apart. Can You Put Me Back Together?

Me: Hello God.
God: Hello...
Me: I'm falling apart. Can you put me back together?
God: I'd rather not.
Me: Why?

Train Up A Child in The Way He Should Go-Proverbs 22:6

Every morning, I asked the kids to join me in my morning devotion. I believed in the word of God that when we train our child at a young age, it will be a part of them for the rest of their lives. I have no problem reading and praying in the morning because my Dad trained me too. There is a big influence you will impart to the life of a child by your devotion to God. Start it today and you will see the difference. Do not let your child grow in knowledge about God only but let them grow in connection with God by heart.

We Dressed Up Even We Can't Go To The Church Today for Easter Celebration

Today is the day to celebrate the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. But because of Covid-19, many churches were closed so my family and I decided to dress up for selfies. Just to have pictures to keep for the years to come. We took pictures in our own backyard with these growing oak trees.

Just after the picture taking, we went back to our house and watched our Online-Sunday Service. God bless us all. Stay safe.

When I am Bitter Inside I Like to Say What I Have To Say

I am not a perfect Christian or believer in Christ. One of my weakness is I cannot control own tongue. Though the years, I have been praying to God to purify my tongue but it seems that it won't go away especially when I am bitter inside. I still believe in the power of prayer that someday my tongue will be born-again in the name of Jesus.

How Do I Manage My Fear From Coronavirus

Since the coronavirus outbreak last December 2019, many people got scared including me. I am a human just like you who have fears too. But by clinging to the word of God these fears are being replaced by confidence in God(salvation), trusting Him, and surrendering your life to Jesus of what lies ahead.

Lyn Pray Persistently Like the Persistent Widow

Luke 18:1-8 King James Version (KJV)
18 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

God Healed My Scalp - Dandruff Problem

I have been having problems with dandruff since I came to live here in the United States. For my first five years here, I suffered from mild dandruff then it became severe. If I wear dark colors, in a few hours you will see white specks in my shoulder. I used different kinds of

How Did I Apply the Bible Verse in Luke 10:19 Over My Sickness

Answered Prayer-God will Protect His Own Children

Yesterday and today, my husband's company let go of about 600 employees from high ranking to the least ranking employees. Although it wasn't easy, my husband was confident in God that He will take care of us because

The Cracked Pot-Each Flaws God Has a Purpose

A water bearer in India had two large pots, each hung on each end of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master’s house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

Modesty Among Little Girls, Teenage Girls and Women

My family and I will not say that we are perfect family or we are condemning anybody who wears what they wear BECAUSE I DRESS LIKE THEM BEFORE. I am here to share what my husband and I think about clothing and it is right according to the words of God.

First Baptist Church Mini Camp for GAS-Girls in Actions

Yesterday was our first time to attend a mini-camp for GAS or so-called girls inaction of our church. Several days ago before this minicamp, I was bad because I was hoping that the camp will be postponed or it will rain hard. And I came because I will do it for my little girl who was so

When Your Prayer Seems Hopeless and Unanswered

When your prayers seem unanswered it brings questions in your heart. Does God really care?
During my college days, I failed once in my written exam and twice for my practical phase examination. After college, I went to a review center to ensure that I will pass my examinations to get my license. I knew, I prayed and fasted as well. After all those hard work I
